Just launched: child rights jurisprudence database and trends pages!

Child Rights Connect is excited to launch the child rights jurisprudence database and the Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) trends page!

The database gathers Views adopted by UN treaty bodies on individual communications submitted by children, or on behalf of children, since the entry into force of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1990. It also includes useful summaries of these adopted Views.

The CRC trends page gathers all adopted decisions of the Committee on the Rights of the Child on individual communications submitted under the OPIC. It also highlights trends of the individual communications reviewed by the Committee.

Both the database and CRC trends pages allow you to build charts and graphs, to help visualise  child rights jurisprudence data!

It is hoped that these pages will make child rights jurisprudence available in an accessible and user-friendly format for everyone – and also inform the work of organisations, civil society, lawyers and human rights defenders involved in the protection and betterment of the rights of children worldwide.
